Gaynor Minden Pointe shoes are the wave of the future. Although more expensive than traditional pointe shoes they last 3-5 times longer making them very cost effective. They also offer greater protection to the foot. They feature shock absorbency pads throughout the shoe which minimalise pain on pointe, and also protect against blisters, corns, calluses and more serious injuries including stress fractures.

The elastomeric shank on Gaynor Mindens means the backs of the shoes do not break like traditional pointe shoes, instead you are able to buy your pointe shoes with the exact back that you require now, no more breaking them in and sticking them in doors! This special shank also promotes good alignment, correcting sickling feet and promoting good technique thereby minimalising injuries.

Due to the plastic toe box Gaynor Mindens are also very quiet especially important when performing on stage. The back is pre-bent so they are one of the few pointe shoes that you can actually pointe in! Truly revolutionary shoes!
