Welcome to the Reading branch of Dancia International. We only opened at the start of 2009, but have already established ourselves as Reading’s premier dancewear retailer and are affectionately known as the “Big Pink Shop”.
It has been a pleasure to meet and serve so many customers from all areas of Reading, and to involve ourselves in the town’s incredibly vibrant dance scene. We have also been delighted to welcome dancers from much further afield, many of whom come because they know and trust the Dancia name, or because they require something special, such as Gaynor Minden pointe shoes. If you are making a special trip to see us, why not make the most of it? We are lucky to be located in an easily accessible area, with plenty of local car parking and lots of shops, cafes and restaurants right on the doorstep.
About CavershamSituated on the banks of the River Thames, and just a 15-minute walk from the centre of Reading, the bustling village of Caversham has a great deal to offer the visitor in terms of shops, restaurants and cafes. Dancia International’s “big pink shop” is located in Prospect Street, which is home to Caversham’s wide range of specialist stores. Here you will find not only the best range of dancewear in Reading, but also independent shops selling gifts, wedding shoes, flowers, books and games, specialist crystals etc. Stay for lunch or dinner, and you can choose from a plethora of cafes and restaurants, with cuisine including Indian, Italian, Greek, Chinese and Thai, not to mention fine British of course!
