Springboard Festival's new Hip Hop section was sponsored by Dancia Brighton.
5 weeks of dance, drama, singing and music brought the 79th Brighton Springboard Festival to an eventful end with certificates, medals and trophies galore.
Naturally, Dancia International was there to support and sponsor a variety of classes but we were especially excited to be involved with the newly established hip hop and street dance sections. Several local schools danced up a storm on the day gaining huge support amongst the audience for the new category and its participants.
JP Omari presented and commentated, having developed the exciting afternoon session of dance himself alongside Springboard officials. As the ‘battles’ commenced so did the rigorous cheers and applauds from the crowd - and of course it wouldn’t be right for JP to just stand on the side lines, so he showed off some moves himself!
From the intense battles in front of leading hip hop artists Kimberlee Jay and Brooke Milliner to amazingly slick and creative groups, the whole session was a hit - with Dancia International Backing their every move.
